Volunteer Opportunities
Garden Docent: Docents attend monthly evening meetings at Greenwood for training in leading tours, public speaking, interpretation, and telling the story of Greenwood Gardens. Greenwood invites guest speakers such as garden specialists and historians. Volunteer garden docents do not have to be botanists, gardeners, historians, or practiced public speakers. Volunteer garden docents must be at least 18 years old, however, and be willing to dedicate time and energy to Greenwood.
Gardener: Come lend a hand in the garden under the direction of Louis Bauer and the Greenwood horticultural staff.
Administrative: Assist in office functions including research, mailings, answering the phone, and filing.
Occasionally we also have volunteer projects available in historic preservation, public relations, and conservation. Please contact us directly if you are interested in these areas.
